Directly under the president is a Organization for Leading Graduate School Program to manage the program. The mandate of the organization is to plan and design action programs. The committee members are also members of the program staff who are responsible for conducting degree examinations. All the members are divided into one of three groups: academia, industry and international and assigned to committee(s), such as the planning and promotion board or the Leader Election Committee, select and educate the students.
Besides these organizations, we establish the president-centered PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action) management system by organizing groups such as the Committee for Program Evaluation and the Advisory Board, which comprises industry executives and academic experts, to support the president’s inquiries.
In addition to in-school staff, we also invite medical staff from Hamamatsu University School of Medicine, and other group educators from famous domestic and overseas universities to participate in the interdisciplinary research initiative for this program. These are the visiting faculties. Furthermore, we invite members from collaborative and cooperative industries as industry educators. While these external members of staff are primarily invited as visiting faculty, some may be assigned as a special-purpose educator or as a member of the project faculty, and will support the students’ education and research.
